Monexit Patch Notes

This page is the Monexit changelog. It lists every release of the app, newest first, with the version number, its release date, and a short note for each change. Below is a summary of what the page covers so you can see what has shipped without running the app.

Privacy and viewing

A privacy button in the bank and cash table headers replaces descriptions, card numbers, and notes with dots so sensitive details stay hidden on screen until you turn it back off. The cash view also gained a clearer labelled switch between Pages and List, with the active view shown as pressed in.

Cash entries and origin

The cash table marks each entry as Bank or Manual, so you can tell which rows are tied to a bank movement such as a withdrawal or deposit and which ones you added by hand. You can right-click a manual cash entry to delete it, which removes its amount from the cash balance, while bank-linked rows stay protected.

Bank transactions and syncing

You can right-click a manual bank transaction and delete it, with both sides kept in sync: a cash withdrawal or deposit also reverses the linked wallet, and a transfer reverses both accounts. Imported CSV rows are protected from this kind of deletion.

Document editor

Drawing a table grid no longer needs separate column and row buttons: a left-click places a vertical line and a right-click places a horizontal line, with a small legend explaining each click. Hints guide you when assigning a selection to a field, deleting a selection also clears whatever it filled in, and every input shows a quick trash button to empty it.

Document binder exports

The document binder can export receipts for a fixed period such as Day, Week, Month, Quarter, Year, or Year-to-date in a single click, and the exported PDF shows an accumulated total beneath the register, summed separately per currency.

Fixes and refinements

Undo and Redo now work for cash changes, the cash LED bars line up with their denomination labels and stay aligned when you resize the window, and config and footer controls scale down to fit narrow windows instead of overlapping. The bank-link column was widened to show its full label, and the titlebar language picker was refreshed with each language's code and name.

This is a running release history that grows with each Monexit update. Your data stays on your machine, guarded by your device's own protections; the patch notes describe the features and fixes in each version.

Document editor - draw areas on repeat documents

When you scan or drop another document from a supplier you have already set up, you can now draw selection areas on it straight away. Before, the editor could stay locked on that second document and refuse to let you select anything.

Document editor - text recognition you can retry

If text recognition cannot start, the editor now shows a clear notice with a retry button instead of leaving the fields silently empty. Text recognition also no longer takes down the rest of the app when a model is missing or briefly locked - it fails safely and can be restarted in place.

Privacy button - hide sensitive data

The bank and cash tables now have a privacy button in their header. Turn it on to replace descriptions, card numbers and notes with dots. Turn it off to show them again.

Cash - origin column (Bank / Manual)

The cash table now marks each entry as Bank or Manual. Bank rows are tied to a bank movement (a withdrawal or deposit); Manual rows are the ones you added by hand.

Cash - delete a manual entry

Right-click a manual entry in the cash history and choose Delete. The amount is removed from the cash balance. Bank-linked rows are protected and can't be deleted this way.

The page/list toggle is now a labelled switch with two buttons: Pages and List. The active view stays pressed in, so you always know which one you are in.

Cash - link column fix

The bank-link column was too narrow and cut off the button text. It is now wide enough to show the full label.

Titlebar - nicer language picker

The language dropdown got a neumorphic refresh. Each language shows its code and full name, the active one is carved in and marked with a check, and the arrow flips when the menu opens.

Cash - bars line up with their labels

The LED bars now sit directly above their denomination values and stay aligned when you resize the window. Before, they drifted to the left.

Cash - config bar fits narrow windows

When you shrink the window, the action buttons scale down to stay on screen instead of overlapping the totals or sliding off the right edge.

Footer - tidier on narrow windows

The scan controls no longer overlap the buttons on the right when space gets tight, and the round centre button moves next to the controls instead of sitting on top of them.

Document editor - simpler table lines

Document editor - selection guidance

When you draw a selection for a normal field, a short hint under it explains how to assign it: click once to pick it up, then click the matching input field to drop it in.

Document editor - deleting a selection clears its field

Removing a selection box now also clears whatever it had filled in on the right. Before, the extracted text stayed behind even after you deleted the box.

Document editor - quick clear button

Every input now shows a small trash button on the right when you hover over it. Click it to empty that field.
